According to reports, in December 2022, the company had assigned Liu to a meeting room without a computer, lighting, or colleagues for four consecutive days, without providing any work tasks, until Liu's family called the police, after which the company issued a termination notice. The company claimed that the employee engaged in attendance fraud and violations of company regulations, but the court upheld the arbitration ruling.
